Had a recent lowside spill on my bike with this jacket on and I can finally say it has been tested. The jacket is all scratched now but what I can say is that it protected me! The marks on the jacket are all across the elbow and forearm area and the back ( which is why it's always good to use back protector). Only the outer part of the leather is scuffed off and I believe the jacket is still reuseable. I actually just painted back the scuffed up marks black so it sorta looks brand name ( don't want to waste a $800 jacket). It's still my favourite jacket which is why I am going to continue to use it. I however did get a leather burn on my elbow on the inside probably from the jacket rubbing against my arm quickly from the fall.

This jacket is by far one of my best looking jackets. All murdered out, with anthracite details, and great snug fit. The dainese quality is always there and you feel very protected from the elbows all the way up to the shoulders. I've inserted a back protector in there (always do) and also there is space for chest protection too. I haven't been able to buy the dainese chest protection yet but recently just put some foam padding in there that came from my other jacket. If you are looking at dainese jackets, you already know what you are getting for you money. I also have an alpinestars leather jacket and i can say the leather feels more thicker and durable and the protection is more stiff. This can be good and bad in the beginning but the jacket will eventually break in . i'm 6 ft 170 lbs and i wear a size 50 for a snug fit. I used to wear 52., There is no liner in this jacket and also the venting is very minimal just fyi.
