In all positions at GP Bikes, it is important for staff to be versatile and willing to assist with a variety of tasks. Unless otherwise stated, most positions involve working mainly during our store hours, however, additional projects may be assigned which require different working hours. Working off-site at Trade Shows beyond these store hours several times a year is a requirement.

  • Overview:
    As a Motorcycle and Powersport Parts & Accessories Sales Associate you will deliver outstanding customer service by proactively assisting customers in store and answering inquiries by phone. On and Off-Road parts and accessories knowledge is required to effectively search and determine customers’ needs. Your goal is customer satisfaction. If this sounds like an ideal way to spend your work day, then this may be the job for you! This position is ideal if you are an individual with a positive attitude, strong customer service skills, and ability to be versatile in your role working in our fast paced environment. Other tasks include ensuring merchandise is always presented neatly and priced correctly.

    Qualifications:

    • Knowledge in motorcycle parts and accessories.
    • Previous customer experience selling motorcycle and powersport parts is an asset
    • Keyboarding and computer skills

  • Overview:
    As a Motorcycle Technician/Mechanic In-training you are responsible for performing all forms of service work from tune-ups to engine rebuilds on most makes and models, including Ducati, Triumph, KTM and Honda. You will complete repair work accurately and within the scheduled time period. You will test ride bikes as required for diagnostic purposes prior to returning to the customer. You will conduct oil changes, tire changes and carb clean setups. This is a full-time position with a higher number of working hours in the busy season.

    Qualifications:

    • Passionate Motorcyclist and have a minimum M2 license
    • Knowledge and experience working with Ducati, Triumph, KTM, and Honda is considered an asset
    • Must have 310G Motorcycle Mechanic Trade Certification
    • Diagnostic skills with both carbureted and fuel injected engines
    • Basic computer skills
    • Must provide own toolbox and hand-tools specific to the trade while GP does supply some specialty tools
    • Maintain a clean organized workspace
    • Perform quality control checks for repaired vehicles to ensure repairs are complete

  • Overview:

In this position, you are responsible for delivering excellent service to every customer - whether you are selling products, or telling them about various sales, promotions and events. Other tasks include making sure that merchandise is always presented neatly and priced correctly. 

    Qualifications:

    • Passion for the riding lifestyle and knowledge of motorcycle products, parts and accessories
    • Motorcycle apparel and accessories sales experience is considered an asset
    • Previous customer service experience; both in person and on the phone
    • Strong computer skills
    • Able to work under pressure with good time management skills
    • Ability to multitask and prioritize
    • Available to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings and weekends.

  • Overview:
    If you are someone with a desire to work in a fast-paced environment, are physically fit, and able to multitask, then this may be the job for you! In this position, you will assist the flow within the Service and Sales departments. As a Lot Porter you will wash and detail motorcycles as well as move them in and around the dealership. You will assist the Technicians as needed and run errands in a company vehicle (such as refilling portable gas tanks, picking up parts from local suppliers, and other errands as assigned). You will work hard to ensure motorcycles on the showroom floor are well presented. You are a versatile individual with a positive attitude and willingness to assist other departments with any task required.

    Please note, we are currently seeking a Full-time Seasonal candidate for this role. The ideal candidate would have open availability from Monday-Saturday. A full-time schedule would be 5 days per week between the Monday-Saturday timeframe. The day off varies based on business needs. The Full-time Seasonal Contract it would be starting as soon as possible until the fall of 2024, with the potential for ongoing employment. 

    Qualifications:

    • Valid G2 driver’s licence minimum (M2 licence is an asset)
    • Knowledge of motorcycles (makes and models)
    • Must be able to safely push large motorcycles
    • Excellent interpersonal skills

    Please note if selected as the successful candidate, your schedule will be determined based on our business hours as well as your individual availability. As a lot porter you are scheduled approximately 30 minutes prior to our opening time for regular duties. There may also be circumstances for business needs where you are scheduled outside of our regular business hours for various reasons (ex. special projects, meetings, inventory or Bike Shows). There is an opportunity to work more hours during peak periods (Spring/Summer) and/or during unexpected absences on the team.

  • Overview:
    If you enjoy going the extra mile for a customer, making them feel like they know you well (even if you haven’t met face-to-face), then this may be the job for you! The Online/E-Commerce Sales Associate delivers outstanding customer service as they support clients by phone or email as they make online purchases. They pick the ordered products from our retail store or special order the items as necessary. Sales are enhanced by providing information about alternative products or add-ons. The Online Sales Associate will also enter all new or updated products to GP Bikes’ website, including data and images. Online Sales Associates help customers shopping in the retail store as needed. The individual must be able to work Saturdays. Working motorcycle trade shows beyond our normal store hours 2-3 times a year is compulsory.

    • Motorcycle apparel, accessories or Parts sales experience is an asset
    • Previous customer service experience
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to build trust and rapport
    • Ability to move between various tasks without losing focus
    • Strong verbal, written, and keyboarding skills are required to compose professional emails and converse with customers by phone
    • Able to work with ease in a web-based computer environment
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Some post-secondary education preferred
