In all positions at GP Bikes it is important for staff to be versatile and willing to assist with a variety of tasks. Unless otherwise stated, most positions involve working mainly during our store hours, however, additional projects may be assigned which require different working hours. Working off-site at Trade Shows beyond these store hours several times a year is a requirement.

SERVICE ADVISOR/WARRANTY ADMINISTRATOR (FULL-TIME)

GP Bikes is looking for an individual who loves motorcycles, has a desire to work in a fast paced environment and loves working with people. In this position, you are responsible for booking appointments, facilitating and quoting customer jobs, closing service invoices and selling service operations. You will also be responsible for preparing and processing warranty claims from the manufacturer or supplier. If you have a positive attitude, strong customer service skills and the ability to be versatile in your role, then this may be the job for you!

Job duties:

  • Respond to and address all customer issues via telephone, email and/or in-person
  • Book customer service appointments
  • File and retain warranty service records by the manufacturer or supplier
  • Maintain up to date records for auditing purposes
  • Complete warranty claim forms and enter information into a database
  • Respond to requests for additional information from manufacturers in a timely manner
  • Oversee the proper handling of warranty parts to be returned or discarded
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Passion for the riding lifestyle
  • Knowledge of motorcycle makes and models
  • Excellent organizational management skills
  • Previous warranty submission experience is considered an asset
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

PARTS & ACCESSORIES SALES ASSOCIATE (FULL-TIME)

As a Parts & Accessories Sales Associate you will deliver outstanding customer service by proactively assisting customers in store and answering inquiries by phone. On and Off-Road parts and accessories knowledge is required to effectively search and determine customers needs. Your goal is customer satisfaction. If this sounds like an ideal way to spend your work day, then this may be the job for you!  This position is ideal if you are an individual with a positive attitude, strong customer service skills, and ability to be versatile in your role working in our fast paced environment. Other tasks include making sure merchandise is always presented neatly and priced correctly.


Qualifications:

  • Passion for the riding lifestyle!
  • Knowledge in motorcycle parts and accessories.
  • 3-5 years of previous customer experience selling motorcycle parts
  • Keyboarding and computer skills
  • Able to work under pressure and good time management
  • Excellent phone and in-person customer service skills
  • Available during all open hours (including Saturdays)
  • You love to multitask

MOTORCYCLE TECHNICIAN/MECHANIC (FULL-TIME)

 

As a Motorcycle Technician/Mechanic you are responsible for performing all forms of service work from tune-ups to engine rebuilds on most makes and models, including Ducati, Triumph and KTM. You will complete repair work accurately and within the scheduled time period. You will test ride bikes as required for diagnostic purposes prior to returning to the customer. You will conduct oil changes, tire changes and carb clean setups. This is a full-time position with a higher number of working hours in the busy season.

Qualifications:

  • Passionate Motorcyclist and have a minimum M2 licence
  • Knowledge and experience working with Ducati, Triumph, and KTM is an asset
  • Must have 310G Motorcycle Mechanic Trade Certification
  • Diagnostic skills with both carbureted and fuel injected engines
  • Basic computer skills
  • Must provide own toolbox and hand-tools specific to the trade while GP does supply some specialty tools
  • Maintain a clean organized workspace
