In all positions at GP Bikes, it is important for staff to be versatile and willing to assist with a variety of tasks. Unless otherwise stated, most positions involve working mainly during our store hours, however, additional projects may be assigned which require different working hours. Working off-site at Trade Shows beyond these store hours several times a year is a requirement.

ASSISTANT SERVICE MANAGER


The Assistant Service Manager will work together with the Service Manager to ensure customer retention and department efficiency. This position will be responsible for the supervision and leadership of the dealership’s Service department in the manager’s absence. He or She will work alongside the Service Advisors in order to drive the growth of revenue, productivity, quality assurance and to promote a high level of customer satisfaction. 


Job Duties:

  • Oversee the Service Department’s daily operations
  • Maximize shop efficiency, productivity, and quality control
  • Assist the Service Manager with the development, implementation, and monitoring of performance, systems, and standards for the Service department using appropriate reports and tracking systems.
  • Direct Service Advisors and Technicians to ensure optimal efficiency 
  • Schedule customer appointments and provide Technicians with detailed work orders  
  • Respond to customers through telephone, emails and in-store communication
  • Ensure customer issues are handled promptly and effectively
  • Stay up to date on product technical and performance information
  • Understand and ensure compliance with manufacturer’s warranty and policy procedures
  • Provide leadership for internal problem resolution to improve efficiency and working relationships
  • Ensure that employees are adhering to company policies and procedures
  • Submit warranty claims with our current motorcycle brands
  • Perform other duties as required to support the overall success of the business

Requirements:

  • Extensive work experience as a Service Advisor
  • Previous management experience in a motorcycle or automotive dealership
  • Strong motorcycle technical/mechanical aptitude
  • Physical abilities to manually relocate motorcycles throughout the building
  • Proficient computer skills and experience using work order systems
  • Superior communication and customer service skills
  • Able to work varying hours including days, evenings, and Saturdays
  • Passionate Motorcyclist with a valid ‘M’ Licence
  • Able to work well in a fast-paced dealership setting

DATA ENTRY CLERK (PART-TIME)


If you are organized, focused, and looking for a job with flexible hours to work around other commitments such as childcare, then this position may be the right fit for you. E-Commerce Product Maintenanceinvolves uploading new products to GP Bikes’ website (including data and images), as well as updating existing or removing discontinued products. Knowledge of riding apparel and motorcycle parts and accessories will help with categorizing these products appropriately.
You will work 25-30 hours a week. Please indicate in your cover letter your available hours from Monday to Friday so we can arrange a mutually beneficial on-going schedule. Working motorcycle trade shows in a retail capacity, beyond our normal store hours 2-3 times a year is compulsory.

ONLINE/E-COMMERCE SALES ASSOCIATE (FULL-TIME)


If you enjoy going the extra mile for a customer, making them feel like they know you well (even if you haven’t met face-to-face), then this is the job for you! The Online/E-Commerce Sales Associate delivers outstanding customer service as he/she supports clients by phone or email as they make online purchases. He/she picks the ordered products from our retail store or special orders the items as necessary. Sales are enhanced by providing information about alternative products or add-ons. The Online Sales Associate will also enter all new or updated products to GP Bikes’ website, including data and images. Online Sales Associates help customers shopping in the retail store as needed. The individual must be able to work days, evenings, and Saturdays. Working motorcycle trade shows in a retail capacity, beyond our normal store hours 2-3 times a year is compulsory.


Qualifications:

  • Passion for the riding lifestyle!
  • Motorcycle parts, apparel and accessories sales experience is considered an asset
  • Previous customer service experience
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and an ability to build trust and rapport

MOTORCYCLE SALES ASSOCIATE (FULL-TIME)


Do you have a combination of 2-wheel passion, off-road enthusiasm and extensive knowledge of motorcycle makes and models? If so, then we want to hear from you! The Motorcycle Sales Associate is responsible for selling motorcycles and off-road vehicles, managing customer leads with strategic sales tools and techniques, following up on all sales leads, making appointments with interested customers, maintaining a clean and professional work space, and being a contributing member of a team that strives to deliver a premium customer experience to its' customers.This individual will develop ongoing relationships with customers and will continually maintain a professional image of the company. Integrity, passion and initiative are essential for this role. The Motorcycle Sales Associate should have a strong background in sales with a broad knowledge of motorcycle and off-road vehicle specifications and features.


Job Duties:

  • Provide customers with information regarding motorcycles and off-road new and used vehicles for sale
  • Complete sales of vehicles while introducing the customer to the additional products and services offered by the company
  • Conduct a delivery inspection when completing delivery to customer
  • Emphasize product/service features and benefits, quote prices, discuss credit terms, and prepare sales contracts
  • Build and foster a network of referrals to create opportunities for revenue growth
  • Attend training sessions and other off-site events to keep current with products offered/sales techniques and also for company representation. International travel required
  • Must be able to work effectively with all areas of the dealership to maximize both the buying experience for the customer and the profitability of the dealership

PARTS & ACCESSORIES SALES ASSOCIATE (FULL-TIME)


As a Parts & Accessories Sales Associate you will deliver outstanding customer service by proactively assisting customers in store and answering inquiries by phone. On and Off-Road parts and accessories knowledge is required to effectively search and determine customers needs. Your goal is customer satisfaction. If this sounds like an ideal way to spend your work day, then this may be the job for you!  This position is ideal if you are an individual with a positive attitude, strong customer service skills, and ability to be versatile in your role working in our fast paced environment. Other tasks include making sure merchandise is always presented neatly and priced correctly.


Qualifications:

  • Knowledge in motorcycle parts and accessories.
  • 3-5 years of previous customer experience selling motorcycle parts
  • Keyboarding and computer skills
  • Able to work under pressure and good time management

MOTORCYCLE TECHNICIAN/MECHANIC (FULL-TIME)


As a Motorcycle Technician/Mechanic you are responsible for performing all forms of service work from tune-ups to engine rebuilds on most makes and models, including Ducati, Triumph and KTM. You will complete repair work accurately and within the scheduled time period. You will test ride bikes as required for diagnostic purposes prior to returning to the customer. You will conduct oil changes, tire changes and carb clean setups. This is a full-time position with a higher number of working hours in the busy season.


Qualifications:

  • Passionate Motorcyclist and have a minimum M2 licence
  • Knowledge and experience working with Ducati, Triumph, and KTM is an asset
  • Must have 310G Motorcycle Mechanic Trade Certification
  • Diagnostic skills with both carbureted and fuel injected engines
  • Basic computer skills
  • Must provide own toolbox and hand-tools specific to the trade while GP does supply some specialty tools
  • Maintain a clean organized workspace
