Favourite helmet
This is by far my favourite helmet in my line up. I currently own a hjc CL-17, agv k3-sv and shoei rf1200. It is my most expensive helmet but if I had known about it sooner I would have never wasted money on the others. It is truly worth every penny. The helmet is not noisy like my agv k3-sv and I appreciate the different shell sizes since I'm a size small. It's super lightweight and I added a photohromatic visor which tints the visor during the day and goes clear at night.

excellent but
third in my Rf collection. 1000 was my favourite. 1100 is a bobblehead. the 1200 is excellent except it truly is sports orientated and the vents are positioned for tuck. In a standard seating position they are less effective and somewhat noisy.

Premium Helmet
Bought the Matte Black version of the RF-1200. Premium helmet, great quality. Comes with a premium price tag as well. Worth the investment though. At first helmet was tighter than usual (I wear a medium) but after about 10 hrs of use it "breaks in". There is always the option to get thinner or thicker cheek pads for that perfect fit.
P.S. Don't forget to check for the pin lock visor. It comes with the helmet. Mine was missing in the box. Got it eventually so no big deal.
Highly recommend this helmet.

Great Helmet
This helmet has been great so far. I find it relatively quiet and the fit is fantastic. As a wearer of glassess, I found it difficult to find a helmet that was comfortable and allowed room for the arms of my glasses. This one fits great. There are numerous vents that can be opened, depending on the weather conditions and temperature. The pinlock shield is awesome and I have had no fogging issues at all, even at night or when the temperature was closer to freezing. Make sure to click the shield completely shut to avoid wind noise - there is a definite click you hear when doing this. Love the fit and would highly recommend this one!

    • How is this helmet in a more upright position rather than a sport bike position?
    • The only difference might be the venting. Other then that this is a great helmet for any position.
