In all positions at GP Bikes it is important for staff to be versatile and willing to assist with a variety of tasks. Unless otherwise stated, most positions involve working mainly during our store hours, however, additional projects may be assigned which require different working hours. Working off-site at Trade Shows beyond these store hours several times a year is a requirement.

As a Parts & Accessories Sales Associate you will deliver outstanding customer service by proactively assisting customers in store and answering enquiries by phone. On and Off-Road parts and accessories knowledge is required to effectively search and determine customers needs. Your goal is customer satisfaction. If this sounds like an ideal way to spend your work day, then this may be the job for you!  This position is ideal if you are an individual with a positive attitude, strong customer service skills, and ability to be versatile in your role working in our fast paced environment. Other tasks include making sure merchandise is always presented neatly and priced correctly.


  • Passion for the riding lifestyle and knowledge in motorcycle parts and accessories.

  • 3-5 years of previous customer experience in a retail setting

  • Keyboarding and computer skills

  • Able to work under pressure and good time management

  • Excellent phone and in-person customer service skills

  • Available during all open hours (including Saturdays)

SERVICE ADVISOR (Seasonal Student Contract)

If you are someone who loves motorcycles, has a desire to work in a fast paced environment and loves working with people, then this may be the job for you! In this position, you are responsible for booking appointments, facilitating and quoting customer jobs, closing service invoices and selling service operations. You have an advanced knowledge of street and motocross bikes. You are an individual that has a positive attitude, strong customer service skills and able to be versatile in your role. This is a seasonal contract from early spring until the fall of 2017 which would be ideal for a student looking for part-time hours while in school with the option of more hours during the summer.

As a Human Resources Coordinator you will be responsible for providing HR generalist and administrative support to the VP of HR & Admin and employees on all aspects of Human Resources activities.

You will:

  • assist with the development and implementation of company policies;

  • identify necessary health and safety initiatives, research related legislation and best practices, write policies and procedures, source or develop appropriate training, assign and track employee training;

  • write job descriptions and job postings,

  • assist with recruitment;

  • provide orientation and training of staff;

  • organize employee events;

  • monitor attendance and assist managers with preparing timecard reports in ADP Workforce Now for payroll;

  • maintain accurate, up-to-date personnel records;

  • maintain the HR filing system (paper and electronic);

  • demonstrate authentic care and compassion for co-workers, balanced with an understanding and appreciation of business needs and government requirements.

As this position supports the VP of HR & Admin/Owner, administrative duties may include filing, drafting correspondence, preparing reports requested by other departments, etc.  Versatility is key for this role. If you want to be an integral part of GP Bikes then you must be willing to jump in where there is a need.

  • Post Secondary degree or diploma in Human Resources Management preferred

  • Experience in all facets of HR such as health and safety, recruitment and training and development.

  • Knowledge of current employment laws and safety legislation.

  • Experience in ADP Workforce Now HRIS system is an asset.

  • Experience being part of a Joint Health and Safety Committee.

  • Excellent written, verbal and comprehension skills.

  • Excellent time management, problem solving, and organizational skills

  • Computer skills: Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint, and Google Drive. Preference given to candidates who can present and facilitate technology-based solutions to HR strategies.
